Components in every pair of these colourful statement earrings are made from recycled fabrics or textile off cuts, allowing me to ensure no precious fabric goes to waste. A huge benefit of using vintage and recycled fabrics is EXCLUSIVITY – every piece of dakota rae dust jewellery is Limited Edition. Worn and well loved fabrics sourced from charity shops, jumble sales and donations of unwanted textile offcuts from fellow makers have been repurposed in these teardrop tassel earrings. The large teardrop components in these colourful statement earrings have been scissor snipped from a secondhand piece of high street clothing, rescued from a charity shop sale rail. The components in these turquoise teardrop tassel earrings have been vinyl printed, hand cut and machine stitched into place. These are my ORIGINAL or classic sized Jazzy Plectrum earrings, with just one scallop edge tier. Despite their size, being fabric they are light weight and easy to wear. The hooks are made from surgical steel, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears or a nickel allergy.
