ON MY DESK TODAY - Laser cut and vinyl printed fabric components ready for construction. Swipe to see a finished pair of the Statement Chandelier earrings these components will make. How are you doing? I can’t quite put my finger on how i feel today . . . There’s been a heavy, instagram resistant fog hanging over me for a couple of weeks and i can’t quite get in the zone with work.
I spent Saturday afternoon filling a friend’s skip with rubble and bricks, which was a surprisingly satisfying task and now i kind of wish i could be a builder . . . just until my brain gets back on track. What job would you do for a day when your brain needs a break? X

MY MAKING PROCESS I’m still unable to access the laser cutter that I hire at @kwmcthefactory due to lockdown restrictions so these last couple of weeks have been focused on re stocking jewellery with components I can cut out by hand. This video shows my Jazzy Plectrum style, STATEMENT EARRINGS being stitched. Each teardrop and scallop edged component is vinyl printed, scissor snipped and machine stitched into place. Once constructed I hand sew the jump rings for the earring hooks and any jewels or fluorescent tassels. more is MORE right? X
