Light lilac and navy tiered frill stud earrings
These light weight, layered studs are the latest edition to dakota rae dust’s collection of smaller more everyday earrings.
These lilac and navy Tiered frill Stud Earrings feature two overlapping fans shapes. The signature ‘frills’ seen throughout the JEWELLED collection have been isolated and layered to create a pair of simple yet striking and colourful studs.
This pair consist of a pale lilac jersey base, backed with vinyl and printed with navy detail.
JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. The layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by costume jewellery.
Secondhand Fabric
ALL the fabrics used is these frill stud earrings is recycled. The pale lilac jersey was once a T-shirt, found at a local charity shop. Every pair of dakota rae dust studs is backed with secondhand fabric giving the earrings a neat and professional finish. Secondhand fabrics are sourced from charity shops, jumble sales and via kind donations from fellow makers. Each is machine washed before being repurposed in Bec’s colourful jewellery.
About the Frill Stud Earrings –
Despite their size, being mainly fabric these earrings are light weight and easy to wear.
These fun-sized studs fasten with surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears.
Each stud earring measures roughly 2.5cm tall by 2.75cm wide.
An easy to wear pair of earrings, available in a range of playful colour combinations.
