The fan and frill, droplet shape components in these pretty pastel earrings swing below teardrop shape studs. This construction means the earrings have plenty of movement, optimising the rainbow reflections on those teardrop shaped iridescent jewels.
JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. It’s layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by vintage costume jewellery.
EVERY fabric in this pair of Statement jewel earrings is recycled. The pale blue shirt fabric, navy T-shirt jersey and vintage floral curtain fabric (used to back each earring component) were all sourced in local charity shops. Every secondhand fabric is machine washed before being repurposed into colourful statement jewellery.
About the Jewel tassel earrings –
Despite their size, being fabric these earrings are relatively light weight and easy to wear – Please note the iridescent jewels are glass so weigh slightly more than the acrylic gems used in previous collections.
The Jewel tassel earrings’ teardrop shaped studs fasten with surgical steel posts and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears.
Each earring measures roughly 16cm x 5.5cm .
