This eye catching piece of Statement jewellery features an ornate bib, constructed from layers of laser cut and vinyl printed, new and recycled fabric components, adorned with light reflecting glass jewels. JEWELLED is a regularly updated collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. The layered, vinyl printed fabric, laser cut jewellery components were inspired by costume jewellery. Design benefits
The glittery blue and turquoise fan and frill, droplet shape components in this statement mini jewel necklace sit on a bright turquoise and gold pattered fabric base and are adorned with teardrop shaped turquoise jewels. Each gem and laser cut fabric component is carefully positioned and stitched on by hand to create a textural, luxurious, layered piece of jewellery. This necklace fastens with a light blue cord meaning it’s length is adjustable. ***This is a next generation statement jewel mini bib necklace and features a neat fabric backing to hide the reverse of the vinyl backed base. This gives it a more finished, tidier look.Featuring vintage / secondhand fabrics
Two of the blue fabrics used in the this mini bib necklace are secondhand. They were both originally unwanted high street fashion found a local charity shop. All my secondhand fabrics are machine washed before being repurposed. I recommend storing your jewellery flat in a box to avoid any components getting bent or creased. Please avoid contact with water and perfume as this may mark the fabric or printed areas.
