This colour way was very popular earlier this year in the larger, Statement bib style, so when I found a stash of left over components I decided to make up a final couple of smaller, mini bib versions. ***The iridescent areas in this design change colour depending on the angle they are viewed from. It’s layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by vintage costume jewellery. All the fabrics featured in this ornate bib necklace are secondhand. Design benefits
The fan and frill, droplet shape components in this luxurious ornate iridescent bib necklace sit on a vintage floral fabric covered base and are adorned with teardrop shaped pale pink jewels. Each jewel and laser cut fabric component is stitched on by hand. Like the larger Statement jewel bib necklace this piece features a sparkly glass jewel adorned, ornately layered, laser cut bib, but in a more wearable, everyday size. This necklace fastens with a light blue cord meaning it’s length is adjustable. ***This is a next generation mini bib necklace and features a neat fabric backing to hide the reverse of the vinyl backed base. This gives it a more finished, tidier look.Featuring vintage / secondhand fabrics
The vintage blue floral print cotton used in the main components of this ornate iridescent mini bib necklace is secondhand. It was donated by a textile hoarding friend. All secondhand fabrics are machine washed before being repurposed.
