JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. The layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by costume jewellery.
Secondhand Fabric
These Statement jewel earrings are backed with secondhand fabric giving them a neat and professional finish. Secondhand fabrics are sourced from charity shops, jumble sales and via kind donations from fellow makers. Each is machine washed before being repurposed in Bec’s colourful jewellery.
About the Teardrop jewel earrings –
Despite their size, being fabric these earrings are relatively light weight and easy to wear – Please note the jewels are glass so weigh slightly more than the acrylic gems used in previous collections.
These dangly earrings fasten with surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears.
Each earring measures roughly 8cm high by 5.5cm wide .
