The fan and frill, droplet shape components in these Statement earrings swing below teardrop shape studs. This construction means the earrings have plenty of movement, optimising the light reflecting off those teardrop shaped gold jewels.
JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. The layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by costume jewellery.
Secondhand Fabric
While the surgical steel studs, vinyl backing and decorative prints are NEW, the pink and white polka dot fabric used to back the components in this pair of earrings is secondhand. This fabric was a local charity shop find and was machine washed before being repurposed.
About the Hot pink earrings –
Despite their size, being fabric these earrings are relatively light weight and easy to wear – Please note the jewels weigh slightly more than the acrylic gems used in previous collections.
These dangly earrings fasten with surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears.
Each earring measures roughly 8cm high by 5.5cm wide .
