The crinkle cut droplet shape components in these colourful dangly earrings swing below teardrop shape studs. This construction means the earrings have plenty of movement, optimising the sparkle on those light lilac jewels.
JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. It’s layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by costume jewellery.
Secondhand Fabric
While the vinyl backing and decorative prints are new many of the fabrics used in this pair of mini jewel earrings are secondhand. The fronts of the earrings have been cut from a donated, retro purple floral print cotton and the backs have been cut from off cuts of lilac fabric. All secondhand textiles are machine washed before being repurposed.
About the mini jewel earrings –
Being mainly fabric these earrings are light weight and easy to wear.
They fasten with surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears.
Each dangly earring measures roughly 5.5xm x 2.5cm .
