Like the larger Statement jewel bib necklace this piece features an iridescent glass jewel adorned, ornately decorated bib, but in a more wearable, everyday size.
Add some JOYFUL COLOUR to your outfit whether you need to make a Statement on a special occasion or simply want to add some sparkle to your favourite sweater.
The fan and frill, droplet shape components in this pretty pastel necklace sit on a vintage floral fabric base and are adorned with rainbow light reflecting teardrop shaped iridescent jewels. Each glass jewel and lilac glittery leaf is stitched on by hand.
JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. It’s layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by vintage costume jewellery.
Several of the fabrics in this bold statement necklace are recycled. The pale blue shirt fabric, navy T-shirt jersey and vintage floral curtain fabric (used to back each earring component) were all sourced in local charity shops before being washed and repurposed in the colourful earrings. Only the lilac fabric is new.
About the Jewelled mini bib necklace –
This necklace fastens with a purple cord meaning it’s length is adjustable.
The necklace’s bib measures roughly 14cm wide x 7cm high.
