This eye catching piece of Statement jewellery features an ornate bib, constructed from layers of laser cut and vinyl printed, new and recycled fabric components, adorned with light reflecting jewels.
JEWELLED is a regularly updated collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. The layered, vinyl printed fabric, laser cut jewellery components were inspired by costume jewellery. Design benefits
The vintage floral fabric and iridescent gold fan and frill, droplet shape components in this glamorous statement bib necklace sit on a floral print fabric covered base and are adorned with teardrop shaped turquoise jewels. Each jewel and laser cut fabric component is carefully positioned and stitched on by hand to create a textural, layered piece of jewellery.
This necklace fastens with a mid blue cord meaning it’s length is adjustable.
***This is a next generation statement jewel mini bib necklace and features a neat fabric backing to hide the reverse of the vinyl backed base. This gives it a more finished, tidier look.
Featuring vintage / secondhand fabrics
The vintage purple floral print fabric used in the this mini bib necklace is secondhand. It was once a well worn dress, donated by a friend’s mum who was clearing out her wardrobe. All my secondhand fabrics are machine washed before being repurposed in this fabulous one-off piece of statement jewellery.
