The fan and frill, droplet shape components in these dangly Statement earrings swing below teardrop shape studs. This construction means the earrings have plenty of movement, optimising the light reflecting off those teardrop shaped lilac gems. While the surgical steel stud posts and vinyls are NEW, EVERY fabric used in these dangly Statement earrings is secondhand. The pale lilac jersey used in the base component was once a T-shirt, rescued from a charity shop sale rail. The floral print blue frill shapes have been cut from vintage fabric donated by a fellow textile junkie. The earrings are also backed with one of a selection of secondhand floral fabrics. Despite their size, being fabric these earrings are relatively light weight and easy to wear – Please note the jewels weigh slightly more than the acrylic gems used in previous collections. These JOYFUL dangly earrings fasten with surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears. Each earring measures roughly 8cm high by 5.5cm wide . Fabric jewellery is extremely light weight, meaning even large statement pieces can be worn comfortably but they do require a little care. I recommend storing your jewellery flat in a box to avoid any components getting bent or creased. Please avoid contact with water and perfume as this may mark the fabric or printed areas.
