Monochrome fabric oversize earrings cut from black and white patterned textiles and printed with black and dark silver glitter.

Whether you’re looking to accessorise your favourite festival sequins or jAZZ up an everyday T these supersized statement earrings will bring a sense of fun to any outfit.   This pair of monochrome oversize earrings are part of my JAZZY PLECTRUM PROJECT. Components in every pair of these one off earrings are made from recycled fabrics or textile off cuts, allowing me to ensure no precious fabric goes to waste. These are the larger size Jazzy Plectrum earrings, with TWO scallop edge tiers. I also make a smaller, ‘classic’ sized Statement earrings with one tier of scallop edged shapes. A huge benefit of using vintage and recycled fabrics is EXCLUSIVITY – every piece is Limited Edition. Worn and well loved fabrics sourced from charity shops, jumble sales and donations of unwanted textile offcuts from fellow makers have been repurposed in these recycled fabric earrings. You can read more about the use of secondhand fabrics in dakota rae dust colourful statement jewellery HERE.

More details about these monochrome fabric oversize earrings –

Design benefits
The backed fabric components in these recycled fabric statement earrings have been vinyl printed, cut out by hand and machine stitched into place. Being made almost entirely from fabric and vinyl, despite their size, they are light weight and easy to wear. All dakota rae dust statement jewellery is constructed with great care and attention to detail.

Featuring secondhand / recycled fabrics

While the surgical steel hooks, vinyl backing and decorative prints are NEW, components in these oversize earrings are cut from secondhand fabric and textile off cuts. All my secondhand fabrics are machine washed before being repurposed.

Surgical steel hooks

These decorative teardrop shaped earrings fasten with hypoallergenic hooks, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears. Push on rubber backs are also provided to keep your earrings safe while being worn.

Measurements

These oversize statement earrings measure roughly 7.5 x 6.5cm.   Visit my ABOUT page to learn more about my JOY bringing jewellery or come and say ‘HEY’ over on social media, I’d LOVE to keep in touch X

ALL my colourful statement jewellery arrives carefully wrapped inside a letter box sized, fully recyclable box. Making it a perfect gift for a joyful dressing loving friend.
Jewellery care
Fabric jewellery is extremely light weight, meaning even large statement pieces can be worn comfortably but they do require a little care. I recommend storing your jewellery flat in a box to avoid any components getting bent or creased. Please avoid contact with water and perfume as this may mark the fabric or printed areas.

Jewelled

Add a POP of JOYFUL colour with this some sparkly gem adorned jewellery. The layered, vinyl printed fabric, laser cut jewellery components in this collection were inspired by costume jewellery. Bold bib necklaces, tassel pendant necklaces and show stopping statement earrings are laser cut from recycled fabrics and adorned with shiny iridescent and colourful jewels.
