These luxurious sparkly statement earrings feature large stylised flower motifs suspended from small circular studs. The components are articulated with a metal jump ring to give plenty of movement. . . and colour variation from the light reflecting off that iridescent print. The colour change iridescent areas move from copper/ orange to yellow/green depending on the angle they are viewed from. In the middle of each flower is a petrol look disc.

Iridescent sparkle is a collection of luxury statement jewellery cut from new and recycled textiles, printed with glittery and iridescent vinyl and adorned with petrol coloured discs. The layered, laser cut jewellery components were originally inspired by costume jewellery and Japanese kimono embroideries.

The bold, stylised flower components in these luxury going out earrings dangle below circular studs. Their articulated construction means the earrings offer plenty of movement, optimising the light reflecting off the area of glitter and iridescent print.
Every fabric used in this collection has been backed for durability and each laser cut component is finished with a fabric backing meaning this statement textile jewellery looks just as good from behind.
Cut from secondhand fabric
While the surgical steel studs, vinyl backing, printed areas and petrol coloured discs are new, many of the textiles used in these luxury laser cut earrings are secondhand. All my secondhand fabrics are machine washed before being repurposed.

Despite their size these fabric and vinyl earrings are relatively light weight and easy to wear.
Surgical steel studs
These oversize flower motif earrings fasten with hypoallergenic surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears. The jump rings are stainless steel for minimal tarnishing.
Measurements
Each circular stud measures 2cm x 2cm and the full earring roughly 7cm x 5.5cm.
