The fan and frill, droplet shape components in these colourful earrings swing below teardrop shape studs. This construction means the earrings have plenty of movement, optimising the sparkle on those teardrop shaped pink jewels.
JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. The layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by costume jewellery.
The polka dot pink and white fabric used to back each earring component is second hand. Sourced in local charity shop, it has been washed and repurposed in these colourful earrings.
About the Statement jewel earrings –
Despite their size, being fabric these earrings are relatively light weight and easy to wear – Please note the pink jewels are glass so weigh slightly more than the acrylic gems used in previous collections.
These dangly earrings fasten with surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears.
Each earring measures roughly 8cm high by 5.5cm wide .
