These teardrop jewel earrings can be upgraded with a pair of pink OR turquoise silky tassels for just £6.
Please be aware adding the tassels will make these earrings EXTRA LONG. They will measure a (dakota rae dust) record 16cm in length from the top of the stud to the tip of the tassel and will rest on your shoulders when worn.
The fan and frill, droplet shape components in these Statement earrings swing below teardrop shape studs. This construction means the earrings have plenty of movement, optimising the sparkle on those teardrop shaped pink jewels.
JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. The layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by costume jewellery.
RECYCLED FABRIC
The navy and light blue patterned cotton (used to back each earring component) was found in a friend’s charity shop pile and the light blue jersey was found in a local charity. Both were machine washed then repurposed in these bold Statement earrings.
About the Teardrop jewel earrings –
Despite their size, being fabric these earrings are relatively light weight and easy to wear – Please note the pink jewels are glass so weigh slightly more than the acrylic gems used in previous collections.
These dangly earrings fasten with surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears.
Each earring measures roughly 8cm high by 5.5cm wide .
