Like the larger Statement jewel earrings these mini jewel earrings feature luxury glass jewels, articulated components and the same vinyl printed detail, but in a more wearable, everyday size.
The crinkle cut droplet shape components in these colourful dangly earrings swing below teardrop shape studs. This construction means the earrings have plenty of movement, optimising the sparkle on those iridescent jewels.
JEWELLED is a collection of colourful statement jewellery featuring recycled textiles and iridescent and colourful gems. It’s layered, vinyl printed fabric components were inspired by costume jewellery.
Secondhand Fabric
While the vinyl backing and decorative prints are new ALL the fabrics used in this pair of earrings are secondhand. The fronts of the earrings have been cut from a pale pink and silver metallic floral fabric that was once a skirt and the backs have been cut from a turquoise floral print fabric. All secondhand textiles are machine washed before being repurposed.
About the mini metallic earrings –
Being mainly fabric these earrings are light weight and easy to wear.
They fasten with surgical steel studs and butterfly backs, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears.
Each dangly earring measures roughly 5.5xm x 2.5cm .
