Add some joyful colour to your outfit with these neon pink, glittery blue and silver recycled fabric teardrop earrings.

Statement earrings for colour lovers, cut from secondhand textiles.

Fluoro pink, glittery blue and iridescent silver teardrop earrings.

Stand out from the crowd in these striking decorative teardrop style statement earrings . . . perfect for fabric junkies, pattern appreciators, colour lovers, festival field aficionados and school run style icons. The blue floral print fabric used in this pair of earrings is secondhand. Originally a top, it was found at a local charity shop and machine washed before being repurposed into colourful textile jewellery.   This pair are my ORIGINAL or classic sized Jazzy Plectrum earrings, with just one scallop edge tier. I also make larger, Oversize Statement earrings with TWO tiers of scallop edged shapes. They are part of my JAZZY PLECTRUM PROJECT COLLECTION. Components in every pair of these colourful, teardrop earrings are made from secondhand fabrics or textile off cuts, allowing me to ensure no precious fabric goes to waste. A huge benefit of using vintage and recycled fabrics is EXCLUSIVITY – every piece is Limited Edition. Worn and well loved fabrics sourced from charity shops, jumble sales and donations of unwanted textile offcuts from fellow makers have been repurposed in these recycled fabric earrings. You can read more about the use of secondhand fabrics in dakota rae dust colourful statement jewellery HERE.

Design benefits

The backed fabric components in these colourful recycled fabric teardrop earrings have been vinyl printed, cut out by hand and machine stitched into place. Being made almost entirely from fabric and vinyl, they are light weight and easy to wear.

Featuring secondhand / recycled fabrics

While the surgical steel hooks, vinyl backing and decorative prints are NEW, the laser cut fabric and vinyl components feature discarded high street clothing, picked up in a local charity shop/kilo sale or donated by fellow makers and friends looking to re home their textile off cuts. All my secondhand fabrics are machine washed before being repurposed.

Surgical steel hooks

These decorative teardrop shaped earrings fasten with hypoallergenic hooks, making them a good choice for anyone with sensitive ears. Push on rubber backs are also provided to keep your earrings safe while being worn.

These colourful recycled fabric earrings measure roughly 5.5 x 4.5cm.   REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE for ethical style. Please visit my ABOUT page to learn more about my vintage, new and recycled fabric textile jewellery, or come and say ‘hey’ on social media. x

Jewellery gifts
ALL my colourful statement jewellery arrives carefully wrapped inside a letter box sized, fully recyclable box. Making it a perfect gift for a joyful dressing loving friend.
Jewellery care
Fabric jewellery is extremely light weight, meaning even large statement pieces can be worn comfortably but they do require a little care. I recommend storing your jewellery flat in a box to avoid any components getting bent or creased. Please avoid contact with water and perfume as this may mark the fabric or printed areas.

Add a POP of JOYFUL colour with this some sparkly gem adorned jewellery. The layered, vinyl printed fabric, laser cut jewellery components in this collection were inspired by costume jewellery. Bold bib necklaces, tassel pendant necklaces and show stopping statement earrings are laser cut from recycled fabrics and adorned with shiny iridescent and colourful jewels.
